It is a tribute to the architect Oscar Niemeyer and was created to be a side table. The piece is a creation of Interior and Furniture Designer Katia Moraes. It can be used in living rooms, bedrooms and offices. It can be used next to the sofa or as a bedside table in the bedroom.
The Niemeyer Table has two geometric and symmetrical sides with a male female fitting system and lowered top that gives the sensation of fluidity. It is worth mentioning that no screws or nails were used, only glue it is used for fixing the aforementhioned sides, minimizing the use of materials and contributing to the implications for the enviroment.
The straight lines, the delicacy of the rounded shapes and the elegance are also aspects found in the pieces.
